One of the most difficult things about being on one’s own, is making life-changing decisions with no one but yourself to rely on to make them. There’s no chit chat, back and forth, throwing out of pros and cons about the issue in question. It just comes down to you!

Coming Up - Road Trip!
I can’t believe how fast the time is going by! I’ve been here more than 5 weeks already and as of Monday, will have the full force of the Pfizer vaccine protecting me! But I am still cautious being around a lot of people and in enclosed spaces and wear a mask, as do about half the people I see here in California, where things are sort of going back to “normal.”

Checking Out the Blue Highways
It was quite a mission, but the drive was great. I had forgotten how beautiful the blue highways are in this part of the world. I am usually on a mission and go on the freeways, but the idea of driving I5 was daunting, as I hate all the huge trucks. So taking the less-traveled roads was well-worth the extra couple of hours.
Plans Falling into Place
I think I my route is determined! After a lot of going back and forth, mainly in my mind, but some on logistics, I’ll leave here in San Diego at the end of this coming week.
