And what a boost for South Africa in general. The excitement, at least temporarily, united the country. Everywhere was a sea of green and gold rugby jerseys and the rallying cry, “Go Bokke!”
Double Edged Sword

Now I face a double edged sword, as I plan to leave family and friends here to go back to family and friends in South Africa.

Day Trips and Distilleries
Distilleries and More Distilleries
My assignment is to visit craft distilleries in South Africa. In KZN, I visited Distillery 031 in Durban and Tapanga Rum in Zululand. In the Cape, the wine center of the country, distilleries are popping up all over the place.
